Lessons from…On the Wings of My Pen
What is a Daily Timeline?
There are so many amazing ways to keep a schedule and stay on track with bullet journal tips and tricks such as these. Yes, you do have your future log, monthly overview and goals, trackers, and your daily pages. But now you can even track your schedule down to the hours you’re spending each day doing various tasks, appointments, and events to become more efficient and catch that day before it slips through the cracks in the floor. (Yes, I see your head nodding right along with me.)
This is a new little tool you can use to your advantage. You can even track your sleeping habits in this 24 hour timeline across your page. It can be horizontal, like mine, vertical, or circular. Whichever is more convenient for you. You can color code your activities throughout the day. It helps you to be much more mindful about what you’re doing and how long it’s taking you to do each task, appointment, or event. You can also list emergencies that unexpectedly pop up in your day. You can also use the timeline on your weekly spread to show what you’ve got going on as you progress thru your week, or month.
So…will you, like me, be interested in this added tool? Will it help to make your day flow better? Will it keep your life from falling through the cracks in the floor, never to be heard of again?
Here are a few other examples of timelines/timestamps in a bullet journal (BUJO) setting:
1. @Kara Benz (Boho Berry) ~ soo pretty!!
2. @craftyenginerd ~Several different types of Time stamps ~Soo cool!!
3. @Evon Robinson (Me) ~ This is a pic of my 1st timeline tracker. Yes…I messed up on the numbers and had to re-number on one of them. Have to remember that days come in 24 hour increments and after 12 comes 1 and not 13. Hee hee! I’m wondering who else would have this problem!?!? My pic of my beginning Timeline Tracker. This is the first time I’ve ever tried this (February 2017)…a crude model. Compare to my later ones on this page. (*See* May & June examples)
