Pretty Ways to Draw Letters

Hand-Lettering humpday!
Yes!! That’s right…I said, “Hand-Lettering humpday!” We will be practicing our hand-lettering, handwriting, and fonts on Wednesdays. There are so many different kinds to try, so we will be working on MANY!! We may be incorporating some quotes in with these also.

Hate your handwriting?

Do you have problems with writing in your pretty journal because you hate your handwriting? Less than stellar writing? Afraid to mess up that pretty blank page with your scribbles and scratches?

Well you’re not alone. Many are fretting and worrying they won’t ever be able to have all those pretty spreads because of poor handwriting skills.

To the Rescue…just in time!

Well have no fear…”Lessons from…On the Wings of My Pen” is here…and with some practice, you will be making those enviable spreads and pages in no time! I’ve had so many members interested in working on their handwriting. Tired of seeing beautiful spreads, only to feel they will mess it up before even giving it a go.

Feeling less than confident?

So where are you in the handwriting department? Average? Less-than average? Creating flourishes in your dreams? Plotting how you’ll conquer that fear that holds you back?

Try it…you just might like it…

Hand-lettering Lesson #1
Simple Font

I have chosen an easy one to start, so you can do this and feel confident.

So let’s get ready to get creative and have FUN!! This should NOT be stressful.

Let’s begin with pencil and eraser. Write out all your handwriting with pencil and eraser 1st!! Then when you have it written out, you can get a marker or fineliner and draw in the fine details, next erase all the pencil markings. And, Voila!!

READY? SET? LET’S GO………………………… HAPPY HAND-LETTERING!! 🙂

Have you done any handwriting practice you’d like to share or talk about? Please DO!
